The purpose of our organisation (we are registered as a non-profit) company is to facilitate the growth of a vibrant and compassionate community (village) which provides care for those in need and opportunities to serve to those who have been put in a position to do so.
St Martins Village is a recognized Place of Safety and loving home for abandoned, abused and traumatised babies and toddlers. Our home is managed by a Board of Directors, and members of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation. . It is important that every child in need should have the opportunity to experience the love and stability provided within the family unit. Thank you for helping us help children in crisis and give them the opportunity to become part of a family again – belonging to a home he/she can call their own.
- The vision of our project at the moment is to provide a Place of Safety for young children with as much emotional and physical support as possible At this stage we can accommodate up to six children at a time,
- To provide loving care of children until they can be placed with other place of safety parents, foster parents or adoption parents.
